Art has saved my life. Period.

Through the darkest parts of my life, being creative, making something, and working with my hands has channeled some of my best work during some of my hardest times. I believe, and I will say this over and over and over again...

Out of the darkness always comes the light.

I recently wrote and created a book about the girls that I paint and my girlfriends in real life... and both have saved me.

I made this original painting, You've Got the Love, with the intention of reminding people that ART is life. Art saves us. Art connects us. It is something real and tangible. It is part of the ripple.

I really wanted this painting to serve as a reminder of the good that art can do.

All proceeds from the sale of these prints will go toward Adoption RI's Express Yourself program, where kids who have been part of the foster care system get to connect with their caregivers through creating together.
